Examinations
Classes_-_Ballet.JPGThe School of Classical Ballet and Western Dance is the only centre in India that conducts both the Royal Academy of Dance (London) and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (London) examinations. Exams in Classical Ballet, Modern and Latin American Dance are conducted regularly, at which the students have always secured excellent results. Examinations are conducted by an Examiner from overseas, assigned by the RAD or ISTD. Students receive an international certificate after completing their exams.

Students who are entered for exams must be prepared to work intensively. The decision to enter students for the exam is entirely at the Schools’ discretion, and is compulsory when they are up to the required standard.

Students who appear and are successful in the ballet, modern, jazz and Latin American exams could obtain credit points for their academic record. These credits contribute when applying to colleges abroad.

See ‘Curriculum’ for more information on the syllabus.
